Saturday Morning

Image
First I went to the Thomasville Farmers Market for produce, including multi-colored peppers, a butternut squash, and a small pie pumpkin.  Then I stopped in the Side Street Antique Emporium, and found a couple of jewelry treasures. Total for both? Less than $20!

Saturday Morning Shopping in Thomasville

Image
My first stop was the Thomasville Farmers Market, for produce and honey sticks made of local honey.  At The Thomasville Emporium, I found a vintage Trifari necklace which dates to 1940, and was from an estate in New. York! I was so excited! I also found a wonderful sterling silver fleur-de-lis pendant, which I love!

My girl Ellie and I are making a freezer of homemade peach ice cream 🍦 on the patio right now. This batch has white and yellow 🍑 peaches in it!

My Artwork

The parrot is sand art that I did in the summer of 2018.  The sea glass and sand art was done in July 2022. I call it Sand into Lightning.  Thought I would share on my blog! Enjoy!

Antique Store Finds

Image
Yesterday morning (Aug 6), after I went to the Thomasville Farmers Market for some  fresh produce, I decided to go into the Side Street Antique Emporium and look around for a few minutes. I found the above vase, as well as a pair of elbow-length black kid leather gloves. I paid $6.29 for both items.

Muddy Creek Lavender Gardening Salve

Image
Just this morning, I purchased Muddy Creek Lavender Gardening Salve at the Tuesday Morning Thomasville Farmers Market, and I am glad that I did! It is actually Sweet Orange and Lavender, and it smells wonderful, but it is a light, natural scent. It isn't heavy or greasy, and my hands felt softer and more hydrated the moment that I applied it!
